The Preciosa Ornela factory has been producing beads for many years and constantly updates its range, while some numbers are also discontinued. Every year new series of Czech beads are developed and new numbers are released; they often repeat the old classic numbers, yet there are also interesting new ones that we can use for smooth transitions when embroidering pictures or making beadwork.

Who is the collection of new Czech Preciosa bead numbers created for?

• for embroiderers who like to select beads for embroidery patterns themselves and want to know which numbers can be used to replace rare or expensive bead shades;

• for those who previously bought Cards, Palettes or Catalogues of Czech beads from us and want to know which new bead shades have been released for building smooth gradients in embroidery;

• for those who buy beads wholesale and want to understand which new numbers are interchangeable with the old ones, so as not to spend extra money on identical shades of different bead numbers;

• for designers who develop blanks for bead embroidery and compile keys with bead numbers for patterns.

Thus, this collection of new Czech Preciosa bead numbers will be useful for creative people who strive to achieve refinement and harmony in their work.

The edition includes 175 real samples of Czech Preciosa 10/0 beads that arrived on the Ukrainian market from July 2021 to June 2023.

The samples are embroidered on A4-format sheets and grouped by colour.

The collection can be purchased on either a plastic or a textile base. It also includes a handy navigator that lets you find which bead numbers are stitched in and where they are located. 

The collection of new bead numbers is presented in a folder.

If you have purchased our Living Palette of Czech beads or a serial Card from previous years, you will be able to file this edition into the folder as an addition to the main book.

All the bead numbers from this edition are included in our new 2023 Bead Palette, so if you have decided to buy it, there is no need to additionally purchase the collection.

The difference between the plastic base and the textile one:

• plastic is a rigid base, which we recommend for shops; it is less convenient for embroiderers, as it is shiny and strains the eyes when selecting beads;
• the textile base is elastic and can be bent so that you can place bead samples close to one another without creating any folds.

The collection of new Czech Preciosa bead numbers is an original development. The collection is dispatched only after full prepayment.
